He grew up attending Sunday school and partaking in heartfelt prayers, but as David grew older, he began to feel restless. The world outside his small village called to him, and he longed for adventure and freedom.

One day, David decided to leave his village and venture into the world, determined to create his own path. As he explored new lands and encountered different people, David gradually drifted away from the teachings of God’s kingdom. He stopped praying and turned a deaf ear to the whispers of the Holy Spirit. David became rebellious, seeking pleasure and validation from the world around him.

However, despite David’s disobedience, God never ceased to shower him with love and mercy. Time and time again, God sent people into David’s life who reminded him of his roots and the faith he had once cherished. He encountered strangers who shared their testimonies and friends who prayed for his return to God’s kingdom.

David was astonished at the grace and mercy God had shown him, even in his rebellion. He realized that God had never stopped pursuing him and had been present throughout his journey, waiting for him to return. With tears streaming down his face, David repented and rededicated his life to God.

He spent the rest of his days sharing his testimony of God’s never-ending love and mercy, touching the lives of countless people who had strayed from God’s kingdom. In our daily lives as Christians, we often face various challenges and temptations, many of which stem from the devil’s lies. The devil is the master of deceit, and his primary aim is to lead us astray from God’s will and purpose for our lives. This blog post will explore the common lies that the devil uses to manipulate us and provide insights on how to safeguard our Christian walk.

The Lies of the Devil

1. You’re Not Good Enough

One of the most common lies that the devil whispers in our ears is that we are not good enough for God’s love and grace. He instills feelings of unworthiness and inferiority, which can hinder our relationship with God and our ability to fulfill His purposes for our lives.

Another lie that the devil perpetuates is that our past sins are too great for God’s forgiveness. This lie aims to keep us trapped in guilt and shame, making it difficult for us to experience the freedom and restoration that comes with repentance and the acceptance of God’s forgiveness.

This leaves us vulnerable to further deception and makes it challenging to discern truth from falsehood. Hosea 4:6 warns, “My people are destroyed from lack of knowledge.”

If we believe the lie that our prayers go unanswered, we may become discouraged and abandon our prayer life altogether. As a result, we miss out on the blessings and protection that come from consistent communication with God (James 5:16).

Hi there fellow believers in Christ! I’d like to share a profound experience I had through a dream that has significantly impacted my understanding of my role in God’s Kingdom. Growing up, I often felt insignificant, yet I deeply desired to do something meaningful and impactful. My Christian brothers encouraged me by introducing the concept of prophetic dreams, which led me to recall a vivid dream I had previously dismissed.

In the dream, I found myself in a beautiful place filled with joy and gratitude towards God. I wanted to be a part of this community and approached the manager of the place who appeared like a  lawyer, who resembled the actor Surya, asking if I could contribute and live there. He suggested we first explore the building together before discussing further.

The ground floor was expansive and vast, with numerous empty spaces that seemed to serve specific purposes. As we ascended to the first floor, the manager revealed that the entire building belonged to me, asking if I was ready to take it. Overwhelmed and feeling undeserving, I declined, saying that the people deserved it more, and I would be grateful to have just a small room near the stairway on the first floor. The manager smiled and insisted I at least see the rest of the building.

Each floor appeared to multiply the number of rooms, making the building seem infinitely vast. I remained firm in my decision to accept only the small room, believing that others were more deserving. The manager said I can either accept it as whole or walk away from this. I will not be allowed to be partially. The dream left me with a renewed sense of hope and anticipation for the future.

Reflecting on this dream, I realize that if anything of such great significance were to happen, it would only be possible through the hand of God. This experience has reminded me to remain humble, trust in God’s plan, and embrace the unique role He has designed for me in His Kingdom.

Vision or Imagination?

In my pursuit of understanding God’s vision for my life, I have received several images through prayer. The first image that came to me was that of a boundary rope or line. Sometimes, I saw myself as the rope itself, and other times I stood upon it, preventing something from crossing over.

The second image was a direction sign pointing towards a bright village, though the brightness was barely distinguishable from where the sign was placed.

The third image I saw a small rock surrounded by sand, which upon closer inspection appeared to be quicksand. The size of the rock varied, sometimes appearing small that barely one person can stand on it, and other times manifesting as a huge, flat rock capable of supporting many people.

These images have provided me with some insight into my role within God’s Kingdom and serve as a source of guidance and reflection as I continue to seek His will for my life.

As I pondered my role in God’s vision, I questioned why the vision seemed so grand and unachievable. I wondered if I could start by focusing on a smaller aspect that I felt capable of handling now. This approach would allow me to build my confidence and progressively work towards the larger vision.

Manish provided an insightful response: If my vision is limited to only what I can achieve on my own, where is God’s glory in that? I began to understand that God’s glory is more evident in situations that transcend human capabilities. This perspective shift excited me, and I felt a strong urge to jump into action.

However, I found myself growing impatient. A sermon addressed this thought process by asking a powerful question: Am I trying to give birth to Ishmael or Isaac? This question resonated deeply within me, teaching me the importance of surrendering and waiting upon God. By trusting in His timing and plan, I can have faith that if it’s His will, it will come to pass.

Demonic attacks, an aspect of spiritual warfare, refer to the tactics employed by Satan and his demons to hinder believers’ faith and obstruct God’s purposes. These attacks can manifest in various ways, including temptation, oppression, and even possession. In this article, we’ll explore the reality of demonic attacks, their prevalence in today’s world, and strategies to overcome them.

Demonic attacks are supernatural assaults initiated by evil spirits aimed at undermining Christians’ faith and spiritual growth. While Christians are protected by the power of the Holy Spirit and the authority of Jesus Christ, they are not immune to demonic attacks. The apostle Paul recognized the potential for believers to face spiritual warfare, instructing us to “Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil” (Ephesians 6:11). As we navigate a world influenced by spiritual darkness, even the most devout Christians may encounter demonic opposition.

Worship: Worshiping God through music, praise, and thanksgiving shifts our focus from the attacks to the One who has overcome them. As we worship, we declare our trust in God’s power and authority over all spiritual forces (2 Chronicles 20:21-22).

The Truth is Satan is all powerful but there are still things he cant do.

God is OMNIPRESENT and satan is NOT! though sometimes we feel like enemy is nearby, but its the demons of Satan that do his will can be near us. Omnipresent nature of God is enough to embold ourselves that the Satan or the enmies cant stand in his presence.

Name of Jesus has the power to ward off any demons! But we have to be remind ourselves, God has equiped us but first we must submit to God and Take his name.

Demonic attacks are a reality for Christians, but we need not live in fear. By staying connected to God through prayer, scripture, fellowship, worship, and resisting temptation, we can effectively overcome spiritual warfare. As we do so, we become better equipped to fulfill our purpose and glorify God amidst the challenges of a fallen world.

In fact, Andrew’s quiet faithfulness and humble actions teach us some pretty powerful lessons about what it means to follow Jesus.

One of the most remarkable things about Andrew is his humility and his desire to connect others with Jesus. In the book of John, we see that Andrew was one of the first people to meet Jesus. What’s the first thing he does after encountering the Messiah? He goes straight to his brother, Simon Peter, and tells him, “We have found the Messiah!” (John 1:41). Think about that for a second—Andrew didn’t keep this amazing news to himself. He was so excited to share it that he immediately brought his brother to meet Jesus. Because of Andrew’s humility and eagerness to share the Good News, Simon Peter, who would later become a central figure in the church, was introduced to Jesus. Hi there fellow believers in Christ! In this blog, the story would be more extensive than the article. I believe that I have not even been capable of introspection. Up until now, I had been forced to examine my life; however, I could only manage a superficial analysis. Once I discovered a flaw, I felt satisfied and worked towards fixing it, but I never genuinely understood the root cause. I never tried to identify the underlying issues—I hadn’t even attempted to be honest with myself.

Steve was a man who had been acquainted with the burdens of pride since his childhood. Early experiences had left deep wounds on his self-identity, and he had come to believe that pride was a necessary shield to protect his fragile sense of self-worth. To Steve, respect was inextricably linked to pride, and he fervently believed that a life without respect was not a life worth living.

As Steve grew older, the spirit of pride took root in his heart, exploiting his vulnerabilities and twisting his perception of what it meant to be strong. He took immense pride in his country – India, the city he called home – Chennai, and his native language – Tamil. His upbringing and the extensive knowledge he had acquired over the years were also sources of pride for him. These aspects of his identity formed a heavy armor that shielded him from the world, yet it also weighed him down, isolating him from those he loved and from the very God who sought to heal his wounds.

Anytime someone dared to suggest that Steve was a prideful man, he would recoil, his defenses rising like impenetrable walls. How could they understand that pride was not just an emotion for him, but a survival mechanism, a desperate attempt to preserve his dignity in a world that had left him feeling broken and unworthy?

But the spirit of pride is a cunning adversary, and it was not content to simply torment Steve. It sought to separate him from the healing embrace of his Creator, from the one source of unconditional love and acceptance that could break the chains of his past and set him free.

He cries out for deliverance, his voice trembling with the raw vulnerability of a man who has dared to face his inner demons and refuse to let them define him any longer.

With determination to overcome pride, I sought counsel from Christian elders and mentors, keeping in mind that “without guidance, people fall, but with many counselors, there is safety” (Proverbs 11:14). Although I still falter at times, I refuse to give up or succumb to despair. I cling to the hope found in the words of the Apostle Paul: “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast” (Ephesians 2:8-9). Through God’s grace and the transformative work of the Holy Spirit, I am confident that I can continue making progress in overcoming pride.
